小时候跟母亲去看戏(电影), 悲伤之处，也会偷偷的流眼泪。

再游合艾

上周末，我们八人共乘两部车子，去合艾作两天一夜游。我们泊车在 Bukit Kayu Hitam 免税商店的范围内，然后乘坐 van 车直入合艾。虽然天不作美，大雨绵绵，但是我们还玩得蛮开心的。

记得 80代初，曾和三几位学校同事包车赴合艾游玩。 当时，印象最深刻的是 “金鱼塘” 式按摩院, 还有到处看到手提塑胶带的暹妹。

第二次去合艾是和家人参加旅行团，那是大约十年前。当时的合艾和目前所看到的大同小异，到处都是来自星马一带的游客。

孝亲敬老

每年十一月初，曼绒古田会馆庆祝该会成立周年纪念，举办孝亲敬老宴会。今年也不例外。

大会主席也是古田会馆会长丹斯里颜清文致词，孝亲敬老为我华人传统美德。古田先贤于百余年前离乡背景，千里迢迢来到了当时的天定州(Dindings)（现曼绒县－Manjung)。他们只靠一把斧头和一把锄头，开辟出了一个春天。
丹斯里颜呼吁年轻一代古田人，除了要饮水思源外，更要传承前辈的节俭美德和刻苦耐劳的创业精神，并使之发扬光大。

顾名思义，古田人源自中国福建省古田县。古田为福州十邑之一。其它 － 闽侯、福清、闽清、屏南、平潭、长乐、罗源、联江及永泰县。
在大马，古田人聚居在曼绒县和柔佛永平。曼绒县的福州人，古田人口占多数。其它 － 闽侯、福清、闽清、平潭和少数屏南人。

单元主义，开倒车

首相：没决定更改 勿再争论单源流学校 2009/10/31 ●南洋商报：
#(吉隆坡31日讯)首相拿督斯里纳吉今日吁请人民无须为单源流学校课题起争执，因为政府是不会随意更改现有的多源流教育制度，除非人民已做好准备接受单源流教育制度。

他说，所谓单源流教育制度建议是旨在团结国人，但若采纳这项制度反而引起争议，造成民间及政治紧张，那是毫无意义的。#

提倡单元政策的人士忘记了，假如不是当初我国所实行的多源流教育制度，哪，今天我国各领域的人材又从哪里来呢？

其实，马来西亚很侥幸，能有今天的多元种族、多元文化、多元宗教国度。这也是我国最大的本钱。可以想象的，假如今天大马是一个单元民族的国家，情形可就不同了；也许今天我们在世界版图上，连吉隆坡的名字都找不到。

顺便举个例子，假如一个家庭成员只懂得讲和读写一种语言，而另一个家庭懂得双语或三语，想想看，哪一个家庭在社会的竞争力比较强。

二十一世纪世界全球化、国家社会大开放的当儿，假如我们还不珍惜并善用现成的多元社会结构，反而去提倡单元主义路线，岂不是天大的笑话，开历史的倒车？

历史的巨轮，不会因一小撮反动分子的动作而停止前进；

百花齐放，百鸟争鸣，才是世界大潮流！
