Merdeka!

喊了52年的 'Merdeka!', 该是一个不短的时间。假如是一个人， 已经是中年开始迈入老年了。

然而， 在迎接52岁生日的当儿，国内发生了一些令人费解的事情， 其中包括：

〔1〕 一个号称全球第二大华人政党的党主席，竟然以不成理由的理由， 开除了他的署理。 这种独裁、武断的高压手法，显示大马华裔政治人物在开民主的倒车，把52年的民主政治化为乌有。

〔2〕 一群伊斯兰教徒举行示威，以踩踏牛头来污辱另一个宗教群体。难道52年了，我们还不知宗教容忍为何物？

但愿52岁生日带给大马人民成熟的脑袋。

久违了，洞洞

在西马，50岁以上的人，很少没有去过霹雳洞、三宝洞和南天洞的。
打从50年代开始，上述的山洞已闻名遐尔，成为旅游景点。

吡州另一个值得观光的山洞是极乐洞。
在这里，你可看到美丽的stalactite 及 stalagmite。
来到极乐洞，真是有投入大自然怀抱的感觉，
令你心旷神怡。

脚踏实地来运动

跑步、徒步，不像游泳和骑脚踏车， 是 “脚踏实地” 的运动。

这种运动很简单，只需一双运动鞋。这种运动很方便，不受空间、时间的约束。

多年的 “快步走” 运动，使我深深地感受到它的好处。 每天清晨一小时的快步走， 令人整天精神奕奕， 做起事来，不乏干劲。

快步走，除了有效的减肥以外，还能控制个人的血脂、血糖和血压，同时加强心脏和肺脏的机能。
医生说，“脚踏实地”的运动还能强化骨骼，远离骨质疏松症。

原来， 脚踏实地， 还是最好的 policy。

去勿洞走走

上周末，有缘参加由第一村(Kg Raja Hitam) 睦邻计划主办的勿洞两天一夜游，难得去走走、看看，轻松一下。
预料之中，勿洞很平凡；没有看到什么特别的东西，除了它的按摩及色情生意。
据导游说，勿洞泰南一带是靠橡胶业维持生计的。
我们也看到不少回教徒。
这里也有华校，甚至还有一间华文大学！

历史见证

马共（马来亚共产党) 于1974 年分裂成三个组织 －
1。原有的中央派 － 由陈平领导
2。革命派 － 一江领导
3。马列派 － 张忠民领导

1983 年 － 革命派联合马列派组织马来西亚共产党。

1987 年 － 革命、马列 两派分别通过和泰国政府谈判，放下武器，走出森林。
惟马列派在原活动区建立五个友谊村定居。

1989 年 － 陈平中央派和泰国、大马政府三方和谈后，放下武器，实现和平。
中央派成立了和平村。
