So which one is better, acidic or alkaline food? Or will it be just a matter of striking a balance; not having too much from the same group?
I think you have told me about this before pa, but I have forgotten...

why not publish a list of balanced diet so that we know what to eat in order to be healthy?

Ni,
According to the book I referred to(I copy):
1)The more alkaline foods are higher in nutrients and also tend to be less allergenic and less likely to cause inflammatory reactions, which acidify our cells.
2)The alkaline diet provides many health benefits such as reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes, cancer, and crippling, inflammatory conditions like arthritis.
3)..should take foods that have a pH above 5.0, which means a diet that has a vegetarian emphasis but includes rich sources of proteins like legumes, whole grains, raw seeds and nuts, and fish and shellfish.
